Our dogs

Our original reason for being was to find homes for unclaimed stray dogs after the statutory 7 days in the care of Highland Council. Over the years with more people handing dogs over to us and recently compulsory microchipping the number of strays has fortunately dropped significantly and now most of our dogs are signed over to us so we know a bit more about their background.

We have  recommenced rehoming dogs to a limited extent. We are currently unable to consider applications from anyone outwith a tier 1 area. This includes anyone travelling through a higher tier area to get here. As soon as that changes we will be delighted to welcome your applications.

Because we cannot safely undertake homechecks  we will need to find other ways to make suitability checks. We will work with applicants to find the best ways to do this. Our priority is, as ever, the safety and well-being of the dogs. Please be prepared to work with us. When completing the application form please give as much detail as possible.

If you would like to adopt one of the lovely dogs shown on this page please follow the link to complete an application form. We also recommend that you complete a form if you are looking for a dog but don't see just what you want today. If we have your form we can move forward much quicker if the right dog comes along.

If you require more information about one of our dogs or would like to apply for adoption then please use the options on the relevant dog's profile page.
