About Toby

Toby was rehomed in September 2022

Toby has been with us for a while now. He has become a confident, adorable and cheeky boy. He is definitely a character and needs a home where his little foibles will be understood. He will happily sleep in his chair until it’s time to get up for breakfast but can be quite lively and vocal in the evening. He is currently living with 4 other hounds and has thrived in their company. He loves to play for hours with the other dogs. He will not suit a home as an only dog. He can be left for a couple of hours with the other dogs but he is inclined to get up to mischief. He will grow out of this but he needs a home that understands. He is not suitable for a home with cats, small furry animals, poultry etc. He would be lovely with children but only those who can keep their food and possessions out of his way. He hates the rain and can’t tolerate cold.
